Therapeutic Support Groups

Passages Women’s Support Group

Relationships can be both a place of wounding and of healing. Often as a result of attachment ruptures, we will develop layers of protection – defences against vulnerability and the potential for future hurts. Passages Group is meant to be a safe, contained space to explore and work with your patterned ways of being in relationship with others with the support of a skilled therapist to facilitate.

I employ attachment-focused somatic approaches to guide participants towards a deeper understanding and compassion for themselves and others. Experiential exercises, mindfulness, visualization and relaxation techniques are some of the strategies that will be introduced over the course of eight weeks. Participants will have opportunities in every two-hour session to strengthen their emotional regulation systems while adding to their toolkit of resources and coping strategies.

Please contact me if you are interested in taking part in an upcoming group offering.
